DA for Bankers from February 2023

DA for Bankers is expected to increase for the quarter February 2023 to April 2023.

CPI data for the month of October and November 2022 has already been released, which is as under:

Assuming that that CPI for the month of December 2022 will increase by 0.50, Dearness allowance for bank employees will increase by 36 slabs to 592. (DA slab for previous quarter were 556). With this assumption there will an increase of 2.52% in the DA.

Assuming that that CPI for the month of December 2022 will increase by 1 point, Dearness allowance for bank employees will increase by 39 slabs to 595. (DA slab for previous quarter were 556). With this assumption there will an increase of 2.73% in the DA.

Assuming that that CPI for the month of December 2022 remain at same level as that of November, Dearness allowance for bank employees will increase by 34 slabs to 590. (DA slab for previous quarter were 556). With this assumption there will an increase of 2.38% in the DA.

DA for bank employees is linked to CPI data. DA payable to bankers increased to 556 slabs for the quarter Nov 22 to Jan 23 from the previous quarter, which was 526.
