How bank promotion exams work
Each promotion level tests progressively deeper knowledge of banking operations, law, and management.
📋 Written Exam
Objective MCQs plus, at higher scales, a descriptive paper. Most banks hold the written exam every 12–18 months per cycle.
🗣️ Interview / GD
Shortlisted candidates face a personal interview or group discussion. Weightage varies by bank — typically 20–30% of final merit.
📈 Merit List
Final promotions are based on a combined score of the written test, interview, ACR ratings, and seniority marks — as per each bank’s policy.
Why study with BankersClub
Built by practicing bankers
Content is written by officers who have cleared these exams — not generic coaching material repurposed from JAIIB/CAIIB.
Mapped to actual syllabi
Each chapter is aligned to the official promotion circular — you study what gets asked, not everything tangentially related.
MCQ practice with progression
Questions at three difficulty levels, with detailed explanations — not just answer keys. Your score is tracked chapter by chapter.
